okay so i was home late last night, and than did this and that whatever and almost 4plus i was gonna sleep. Than i heard some screaming noises of pain, immediate reaction was what the fuck? Why is someone moaning so loudly at 4am in the morning ! (Australia houses have really thin walls). Than i lifted my blinds to see a friend of mine who happens to be my neighbour running in and out, plus the screaming got louder. So i decided to ask her whats going on? whats with all the screaming. When i went into her house, she was telling me that her housemate came knocking on her door to call the ambulance for her and she collapsed on the floor screaming in pain while grabbing her mid abdominal area.
The screaming and moaning got worse as we see her condition getting worse yet the ambulance did not come despite calling multiple times cause they said its one of their busiest nights and they are trying to get there asap. But she was in soo much pain that she could only scream and kick, begging us to kill her and so forth. Pulls on the heart strings when u hear them. The thing is the hospital is just right opposite our place, yet so far when called for. So after about 2 hours she was shaking cause of the pain and it was cold, and the ambulance is still to no avail. In between there were already times where she could not breath and had difficulty breathing.Than while my friend went out again to see if the ambulance is her, she passed out and lost conscious. It was a scary moment for me cause i literally saw her hand fall. SO i slap her to see if she has any response and shake her to get a response, flip her eyes to see if she has any awareness, but no response at all, literally saw her eyes roll back. So i quickly left her in a recovery position while i went out to get help again. We finally got the paramedic on the phone and she ask us for the details and everything, like placing her on her back and than count her breathing, cause her breathing is like slow and shallow, she instructed us to start CPR, so while my friend held her head and the phone, i started CPR on her. Like after 5 compressions she came back on like her pulse and breathing than the paramedics came in, than they took over. But all this is after 2 hours plus and when she passed out already than they come. A head of the paramedics came and gave the kind of attitude like i thought someone said someone passed out? I was pissed so i said ya, she did and stopped breathing for a min, but we started compressions. Than they took her to the hospital. Usually in singapore style, they will transport her in the trolley , but here they make her stand and walk out to the outside gate where the ambulance is, while 2 paramedics hold her, the make us carry their stuff out for them. So she finally got to the hospital around 7 plus, and last my friend texted me was 4pm, shes still in emergency...... This was literally the scariest moment for me for the span of the time i spent in Australia. I finally understand how the parents/kin ones must have felt when they see their love ones in pain, begging them to be killed. The heart strings get pulled so tight that when u can no longer bare to see them in pain u might just put them to rest. Never in my life, have i felt that i would be using the CPR skills i learn outside, i thought my first time administering CPR would be in the hospital under the guidance of others but than there it was, right in front of me. When the time comes, your mind would take over your body and adrenaline would take over, controlling your body to do the actions unconciously. After, the administration, my heart was palpating so fast that i was shaking from head to toe. It took me 1 hour before my heart beat was back to normal. What a day.....
