We were totally exhausted from the early morning, late nights and the constant long drives, that we were totally knocked out on Sunday. Since it was Sunday, we might as well rest and sleep in. WH decided to join us since she was free on Sunday, which makes it even better since we all slept in and it gave us a chance to take a break from driving as well. So heather did her laundry while we took our own sweet time getting up and all that. Since we had no set plans in mind but to only visit Swan valley. We waited for WH to pick us before we move on and just went from there. We visited Taylor’s arts and coffee for brunch, the place had a rustic feel to it, with a mini art gallery that sells some of the local art pieces. There is both indoor and outdoor sittings, though we sat indoors, I would recommend sitting outdoors if you don’t mind the heat. It would have been nice to seat outside during the cooler days. Despite the food being ordinary, it was still a place worth visiting, with its high reviews online as well. " Taylors Art & Coffee House Next we headed to Swan valley town centre, if you were unsure of what you would like to see or what there is in swan valley, I would highly recommend making a trip to the town centre for help or information. The staff are very friendly and would recommend places or map out a tour for you, in addition, there are brochures on the different tours one can take. We only visited Oggies Ice cream which serves traditional italian gelato, as it was getting late. They had some interesting flavours such as bubblegums in pink and blue which are attractive for the kids. I had the cookie dough which wasnt that good. Because we visited Margaret river before swan valley that we felt that the attractions were similar and nothing. So if you don’t have much time, you can always choose to visit either Margaret River or Swan valley. " Swan Valley Visitor Centre " Oggies Ice Cream Cafe As there wasn’t much to do, WH suggested that we go to Crawley Blue Boat House in the city on that day, though we planned to visit it the next day as she has not been there before in the 3 years she’s been in Perth. Since we had time, why not. It was a little difficult to get a park in that area, and was a test to the driver’s skills as the slope opposite the blue house for parking was really steep. It was crowded on that day and there was a constant queue , though people were respectful, there is an inevitable pressure that everyone is waiting for you and that everyone is looking at you while you pose (Maybe its just me being sensitive). So we hatched up a plan, and quickly got into action, thou the pictures were not perfect, the memory would still last. The spot was just beautiful and randomly situated, making it one of the icons to visit whenever someone visits Perth. " Blue Boat House After which, we just chilled at Andrea’s place, while they try to help me overcome the fear of cats with Andy’s baby Sheen sheen. It was so shy and tame, making it a good experience for me as I hold the cat in my arms. Dinner was at Ramen Samurai in East Victoria Park, the area is like filled with restaurants you would be spoiled for choice. Personally, I felt the ramen was good but average, kind of similar to Hakataya in GC. Than we had presto tea, the bubbletea shop visited by people in perth. It was okay, just a shop to help kurb the craving when you feel like having bubble tea. They had a few options that i would love to try if i had the chance again. I ordered the Charcoal roasted milk tea while heather had the panda milk tea, which was just regular assamu milk tea with black and white coloured pearls. With that we end the night.
