Started the morning off with just a hot drink in our house, before setting off on a 3 hours drive to the Northern side of Perth. We were excited and arranged to go to famous lobster shaxk in Cerventes, WA. We were super hungry by the time we reach the shack, the place was packed with tourist on a tour around the area. They were having some kind of promotion for fresh lobsters on sale that day due to a public holiday in China. I was looking forward to try the lobster roll that i saw from others who have wrote about this place, sadly, the menu was limited on that day with only 3 choices. We ordered a plate of half grilled lobster+ chips and coleslaw and Bobby's lobby burger, everything was cold and really not great for us on that day, it might be because everything was like pre-cooked and left there, till we collected our order. Be sure to arrive before their closing time at 3pm. " Lobster Shack @ Cervantes After filling our stomachs, the next stop was to the pinnacles desert, located 20minutes away from the lobster shack. The pinnacles desert is located within the Nambung National Park, filled with limestones formations made from seashells in the early eras. There is a entrance fee when you drive right in, after which, you can choose to go on a drive round the park, there are designated roads that you can follow or choose to take a wallk. We went for the drive route, along the pathway, there are designated spots for you to park your cars and go down, have a walk around the area, and take some photos. We were in the park for about an hour- an hour and a half, stopping whenever and spending the majority of our time trying to get a good photo. " Pinnacles Desert Next stop, coming back from the Cervantes, Lancelin Sand Dunes. A friend suggested we rent the boards at the convenience stores when turning into the area. Be sure to look out for signs as they are easily missed. Apparently, it is cheaper than renting from vendors in the sand dune ($10 for 2 hours). We suggest just renting 1 board to share as it was really tiring climbing up the sand hill, unless you would be spending a lot of time there. It was really huge, you would be literally standing of piles of sand the whole time. Besides sand boarding, there are other activities offered by the vendors there as well. As it was getting late, we didn’t bother getting the board but just slide on our bums and take some photos. Be sure to go early if you would like to spend a lot of time sand boarding as there is very little street lights around and the area could get very dark. "Lancelin Sand Dunes We than embark on a really long drive back from lancelin after that and stopped by Sedap place in East Victoria Park for dinner. As we were starving, we ordered more than usual, I got the nasi lemark while heather got the ipoh horfun and shared the Roti Canai. It was not too bad, of course nothing could match the standards we have Singapore. Ending the day with more PresoTea. "Sedap Place Xoxo, Dee Perth Posts
